Its now the fall...
Long time since last post, but seeing that I don't think my blog has many followers, it probably isn't that big of a deal.
PhD has being gathering pace; working on some quite cool things at the moment but I have to admit I can't ignore the fact that I have less than a year left, or more like 11 or less paycheques left. Damn. I guess it seems more real and harsh when money is mentioned. Still I am looking forward to moving on and doing something new with a new team. I am still waiting to hear back from Langmuir journal about another paper, but I am pretty confident with that one.
On other fronts, I have recently become a House fanatic. I had seen it a bit before, but now I am dedicating time to go through the series' one at a time. I love his cynicism and the way he deals with people, its seems very stand-offy but I think sometimes its the best way to approach a problem and not get hurt too much in the process. The programme seems to sum up general human interaction well too, with people getting too arsed off about the simple things in life literally being put in their place, so I guess it goes to show that being miserable isn't so bad after all!
Anyway, I must stop this philosophical update and satisfy my tea addiction. Ciao.
